Egg Freezing Journey

4 steps to freezing your eggs
Step 1

Fertility Consultation and Assessment
45 mins

Your journey starts with a 45-minute consultation, where our fertility expert reviews your medical history and customizes a fertility plan. Key tests like AMH, AFC, and FSH predict your fertility potential and help tailor your medication.

Step 2

Ovarian Stimulation
8 to 12 days

You’ll receive daily hormone injections to stimulate egg production. We’ll monitor your progress with blood tests and ultrasounds, adjusting medication as needed. The final step is a trigger shot to prepare eggs for retrieval.

Step 3

Egg Retrieval
2 to 3 hours

With ultrasound guidance and light anesthesia, your eggs are retrieved during a 20-30 minute procedure. Recovery is swift, often within 2 to 3 hours, and you’ll have a clear sense of how many eggs were collected.

Step 4

Egg Freezing

The retrieved eggs are quickly vitrified—frozen in a secure, temperature-controlled facility for future use. You’ll know the count of viable eggs that were successfully preserved by the next day.

You’ve got this, and we’ve got you.

FAQs

Is age more important when freezing eggs or getting pregnant?
Both are important, but freezing eggs at a younger age preserves your best-quality eggs, giving you better chances for future success when you decide to conceive.
While freezing eggs increases your chances, it doesn’t guarantee pregnancy. Success depends on many factors, including egg quality and overall health.
Egg freezing success varies by age, but for younger women, it offers a strong chance of future pregnancy.
The process includes hormonal stimulation, egg retrieval, and freezing. It’s minimally invasive and takes around two weeks.
Consider your age, long-term family goals, and overall health. Consulting with our fertility experts will help determine the best time.
The earlier, the better—ideally in your 20s or early 30s, when egg quality is higher.
Embryo freezing involves fertilizing your eggs with sperm and freezing the embryos for future use. It’s a great option if you’re planning IVF or postponing pregnancy.
Egg freezing preserves unfertilized eggs, while embryo freezing involves fertilized eggs (embryos). It offers a higher chance of success in some cases.
Embryo freezing is ideal if you’re undergoing IVF or prefer having embryos ready for future implantation.
Embryos can be stored for several years without losing viability, allowing you flexibility in your family planning journey.
